Description:
Right in the center of Seoul, the Seogye District has been evolving as a
hub for tourism and services due to its direct connection to the railway
central station and nearby famous landmarks.
However, the COVID-19 crisis exposed a series of challenges the district has
for resilient conditions for local neighbors and private business owners. The Seoul Metropolitan and the Yongsan City government requested a comprehensive analysis of the district,
its topographic and infrastructure condition, but especially a reconsideration of its
land use and incentives program in order to establish a special district
status for this emerging economy.
