강북구 신청사 건립사업 국제설계공모 / International Design Competition for the New Gangbuk-gu Government Office Complex
We are really proud to share our proposal for the 강북구 신청사 건립사업 국제설계공모 / International Design Competition for the New Gangbuk-gu Government Office Complex!
The vision behind our proposal was to create a 65,000sqm civic landmark that represents not just a space for governance, but a welcoming and dynamic environment for citizens. We focused on integrating smart technologies and eco-friendly solutions to align with Seoul's ambition to lead the way in sustainable and intelligent urban development. Our design fosters accessibility and inclusivity, offering open spaces for public interaction and collaboration, creating a community-centric hub within the vibrant landscape of Gangbuk-gu.
Our sincere thanks to the amazing team at Studio Contrapposto SAS and UArEC Engineering for all the great work invested in this proposal, and specially to our coordinator Aurora Echeverri for all her assistance to bring together teams in Korea and Colombia to this magnificent result. Participating in this competition has been a great experience, and we look forward to contributing to Seoul’s vision of a smart and sustainable future.
